Can hear thunder but nothing showing on websites

I always head to lightning maps.org as soon as I hear thunder. But despite me hearing rumbles of thunder pretty much constantly for the past 10 or 15 minutes, the website shows only one strike, and it's pretty far away and in the wrong direction!

Any more reliable websites for my storm-watching?

Try here https://www.netweather.tv/live-weather/lightning I find it very reliable. There's a big one tracking up the country right now. I'm just north of Liverpool so it's nearly here, I can just hear faint rumblings

Are you Midlands based we have Midlands storm chasers vicky is really accurate at predicting storms

Lightning maps is good but all of these things depend on cloud to ground strikes. You'll be hearing the thunder from cloud to cloud lightning instead.

Enjoy it. We've had drizzle all day but no thunder yet in the SW
