I'm not very good in the heat and sunburn very easily. The weather's surpose to hit 25 degrees in a few days. Is 25 degrees to hot is it unbearable. I'm usually the one who hides away in the shade. I'm not used to the heat. What's your thoughts.

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 26/05/2023 17:23

you get about 9 months of miserable grey weather to love.

AuntieMarys · 26/05/2023 17:24

Well I don't like the heat but 25 is a lot better than 30!!

LapinR0se · 26/05/2023 17:27

20-25 is comfortably warm
25-30 is hot
30-35 is too hot
35-40 is national meldown

squashyhat · 26/05/2023 17:33

What are my thoughts? It's weather. Stay indoors, wear a burka, run naked through the streets. Whatever it takes to get you through OP.

PromisingMiddleagedWoman · 26/05/2023 17:37

Eh? Surely 25C is only a little higher than the average room temperature.

Oakbeam · 26/05/2023 17:39

My thoughts are that 25 degrees is mildly warm, not too hot. Too hot is around 40 unless I’m not expected to do much. In which case it’s bearable.

CatsOnTheChair · 26/05/2023 17:39

Move north.
One day of 22, then nothing much over 14 til the end of the week here.

LindorDoubleChoc · 26/05/2023 17:40

The weather has barely warmed up in the UK and already I'm bored of the moaning about summer threads on Mumsnet. Move to Manchester!

Delatron · 01/06/2023 10:02

It’s been freezing this week (in the East anyway) so hope that’s appeased you and your panic about one warm day. Shame as the kids have been off and would have been nice to have a bit of warm weather. There’s a very cold North Easterly hanging around. After the winter that went on forever…

5childrenand · 01/06/2023 10:04

25 is perfect.

We’ve had months and months of wet grey cold grimness. Can we just enjoy this 2 weeks of mild warmth please? Stay inside next to a fan if it’s not for you.

ThatsNotGoodMelon · 01/06/2023 10:07

It's 13 here. Far too cold for June.

ladydimitrescu · 01/06/2023 10:11

25 is not too hot, it's comfortable. 27 and up is hot, 30 and above is bloody hot.

SallyWD · 01/06/2023 10:11

25 is lovely - for me. I appreciate some people don't like it.
It's a shame though. We basically have cool, grey weather 90% of the time. This year has been very grey and chilly. We got no good weather until a week or so ago and even then it was hardly boiling. A couple of days of low 20s. There are STILL people complaining it's too hot!

SunnyEgg · 01/06/2023 10:15

Love 25 not too hot

There’s another thread saying it’s too cold atm

Idratherbepaddleboarding · 01/06/2023 10:18

25° is perfect ☀️ you get at least 9 months of the year of cold weather!

Delatron · 01/06/2023 10:19

I’d love 25 right now. It’s 12 here and cold. In June.

it’s so frustrating when we get one day of slight warmth after 6 months of cold and grey and people moan. I mean what has the top temperature this year been? 24 if that. For one day..

Twoshoesnewshoes · 01/06/2023 10:20

25 degrees is definitely bearable, can you get somewhere breezy? It’s a good temperature as long as you don’t go for a strenuous walk etc.
it’s rather hot to sleep in though!

AnarchoTyrannosaurus · 01/06/2023 10:21

25 is perfect.

tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz · 01/06/2023 10:49

God I'd sell my Nan for that temperature right now, I've got my sheepskin slippers on this am Confused (E Mids)

User1328745 · 03/06/2023 08:29

Well, they got that wrong

OhYouBadBadKitten · 05/06/2023 21:08

It's probably going to feel hot. It's going to be pretty humid and it always takes time to adjust to warmer weather.

tillyandmilly · 07/06/2023 11:21

I like 20 degrees - now that's pleasant - shame it can’t stay at that temp ! 25 is too hot for me and headaches start to creep in ! I need to move up North

sanityisamyth · 07/06/2023 11:22

SoupDragon · 26/05/2023 17:23

This. Cannot stand winter or autumn.

Hedgesfullofbirds · 07/06/2023 11:30

25 degrees is far too hot if you have to work out in it all day in a physical, manual occupation 18-20 degrees is plenty...

And when, oh when, are we going to get some much needed, precious, life giving rain - the land is parched after a month and a day without any

Bullshot · 07/06/2023 11:33

It’s perfect !

I mean we have never ending winters of dark, cold, miserable weather so a week or two of summer is a treat .

stay indoors if you don’t like it. Or embrace it and do something fun in the sun
