What are your thoughts on the evidence fir a very strong El Ninó OYBBK? And Gloria! There seems to be some real concern regarding tbe implications fir future temperature rises?

Been on weather threads a while (username used to start with manky).

I just came on to ask the same thing @ohyoubadbadkitten I keep seeing dubious news reports - latest saying El nino will bring pavement melting heat to UK...

El nino will bring pavement melting heat in 2024. Nothing this year i think. Maybe december storms and flooding.

It's so difficult to say. It's cyclical as a sailor of 45 years we've seen it come and go. Countries on the edge of droughts annually have more to fear.
