tornados are fascinating and frightening at the same time.

I wonder about the damage - would buildings in europe fare the same way?

Sorry Green, didn't see your post. It's been an awful week in parts of the Midwest. Some of the tornadoes that occurred this week would have certainly been enough to demolish even strongly built brick houses and turn bricks into flying debris.

those poor people having to rebuild their homes. and also mourning at the same time

and of course it hits the weakest in society.
the better off will have a shelter in the basement and of course funds and insurance.
