Youshiko Weather Station - which to get?

I am looking at getting a Weather Station device but due to living in a flat I don't think I can get one with a Wind sensor or Rain sensor. So I am looking at the Youshiko YC9441. Are there others that you would suggest I look at and are there any that are internet connected so can link to the WeatherUnderground network?

What sort of thing will you be mounting it to nannynick? What's your budget too?
Its great to contribute to those sites - they produce genuinely useful data.

That is the problem, I won't be able to mount to anything, so I think all I can do is have an outdoor temperature sensor which I can hopefully put somewhere out of direct sunlight. So it won't be very accurate so probably won't be suitable for linking to the public data systems.

Budget up to £100.

I'd look at this website www.weathershop.co.uk/weather-stations/home-weather-stations/weather-forecaster and give them a call. The chap who runs the shop was genuinely helpful when I phoned with some queries.

The key will be trying to shield your thermometer. I did in the distant past fashion a polystyrene box shield for a wall mounted thermometer, with air holes in it. Because you have the inhome display you dont need to be able to read it directly.

Thanks, will take a look at that site.
