Agreed. Dressing for the day is a nightmare 🤣

ClumpingBambooIsALie · 11/09/2022 17:39

Agreed, DP struggles more with breathing in humid weather so I'm really hoping it'll dry out a bit soon. And I just find it uncomfortable.

Twawmyarse · 11/09/2022 17:41

I agree, everything has a kind of "mouldy" air and none of my (wooden) windows shut properly. It's really draining physically. I'm longing for cool, crisp autumn days!

AtomicBlondeRose · 11/09/2022 17:44

I HATE it. Bright sunny weather, great. Crisp autumn weather, lovely. This disgusting muggy, sweating after walking five minutes, never wearing the right combination of clothes, smells
lingering in the air weather, can get to fuck. Horrible.

ApolloandDaphne · 11/09/2022 17:51

It's not muggy at all here in the east of Scotland. Today was a beautiful early autumn day.

ClumpingBambooIsALie · 11/09/2022 17:55

Yeah very geography-dependent, both on a large-regions level but also in a local level too; five miles down the road and you might go from a stuffy, muggy atmosphere to a sea breeze.

Southeast England and London have been largely muggy for months, though, and I think about 1 in 3 Brits live in that general part of the country, so that's quite a lot of us wailing about the humidity Grin

Lipsandlashes · 11/09/2022 17:59

It’s usually really humid and muggy in September/beginning of October though. It’s my most hated month or so, because it’s so bloody changeable and no one has a clue what to wear to be comfortable. Tomorrow is going to be 26 in London 😩

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 11/09/2022 18:00

I’m in the north, it’s been endlessly muggy here. Since about June.

Every day the temperature is predicted as about 17. Then step outside and it’s hotter than that and constantly muggy.

Ot was coolish last night, but still muggy. How is this happening? Sick of being a wrongly dressed sweaty mess.

Yup. Hate it.

fernz · 11/09/2022 18:06

Yes! I've been so confused why it feels so hot and uncomfortable even when the forecast says it's only 22C or something. It's not usually like this.
