Sandy Rain today then Warm at the weekend.

Are you getting Sandy Rain today? I expect this is caused by sand picked up as the weather system went over the Sahara Desert.

Meanwhile the Daily Express is saying that we could have 20 degree C heat at the weekend. Well I suppose it makes a change from them predicting Snow Armageddon. GFS model looks to me like Friday lunchtime and Saturday lunchtime may be quite nice and warm.

Do you think the warm weather will be coming? Is GFS right - are other models predicting the same?

Yes! My car was covered in sand when I went out to it at lunch time, and the world went that strange orange colour that it does before sand-fall this morning! Just boring rain now, which has at least washed the sand off the car!

Will be nice to have some sun after the rain today. I'm not working Friday or Saturday so maybe good days for a walk in the countryside.

Saharan dust is due to come again, Easter weekend. I'm not going to bother to wash the car until next week.
