Mother Nature is a legend {smile}

Yesterday, the storm caused some tiles to come off my friend's roof and land in the garden.
A few of their neighbour's roof tiles flew off and landed on their conservatory roof.
Their other neighbour had some debris in his garden and that also flew into my friend's garden and caused some damage.

Yet in a very tall, bare tree in my friend's garden is a magpie nest, completely untouched by all the drama of the storm. Barely a twig unplaced.
I love nature.

You can’t see it too well when not there in person.

Brilliant! The magpie was a great architect and did a great job. Must have woven it in well ❤️ Luckily not nesting season quite yet so no chicks in it to tumble out. I hope.

The only nests In have ever seen blown down are tiny little mossy, downy nests, from robins? Or tiny other birds? And it always makes se quite sad, to see such a small masterpiece to have been swept away and lost, with no means of putting it back up.
