Please don't post the weather unless you don't mind people knowing when you were born - I don't want this to turn into a privacy nightmare thread! I've just discovered the met office archive. I'm posting the link partly so I can find it again.

Anyway, it was sunny, calm and warm for the time of year when I was born

It seems to have been around 10 degrees and clear on the day I was born, tiny bit windy earlier, boring haha.

It probably is going to be boring for most I'm busy looking up all sorts of days now!

It was the middle of summer but according to your link YBBK, only 62 degrees outside. My mother said the hospital ward was freezing (unlike these days!) and she had to ask a nurse for another blanket for me as my little hands were quite blue .

I can't read the text but it was my birthday just 10 days ago and I can't remember what the weather was doing then

A birthday fact that always disappointed me was that Maggie May was number 1. Never liked that song

I know it was snowing without looking as my Dad said he got the call that my mum was in labour when he was doing some roof work in the snow.

It's bought back memories of the day dd was born; an approaching storm added to the dramatic feel.
