Low pressure will cross the UK tonight and in to tomorrow. Met office are saying 60mph+ winds and heavy rain potential. #StormFrancis

Looking at forecast for where I am (Cairngorms National Park) Tuesday afternoon could be very wet. How is the forecast looking for your location? Are you feeling the storm yet?

I am in gloucester. Its lashing rain, and quite windy. It's meant to be like this all day.

The deluge is on here in Leeds. @Justmuddlingalong that map is actually really beautiful despite what it's showing!

This morning's wind map is even more impressive. The wind's ramping up a bit in Fife and the rain has just started, but looking at that map, it won't be until later that we get the worst of it.

West Yorkshire here. We're forecast heavy rain all day but wind doesn't look too bad. I've dropped the sides on the trampoline though just to be safe.

It was dry when I woke up at 05:40, but is definitely raining now. Just starting to sound a bit blustery. Forecast is for rain all day (Berwick-upon-Tweed). I’m glad I hit camping. My sister booked 2 nights of accommodation in the middle of her camping trip to ride out the storm (she’s somewhere in the vicinity of York). I think that was probably a wise decision!

Lashing down with horizontal rain and huge gusts here on the south coast in East Sussex. Luckily I'm at home not in a tent!! The window of my attic bedroom looks over the channel, but looks like someone is just emptying buckets of water down it. The cat insisted on being let out earlier, took one strong gust to his fur then came straight back in the idiot feline!

Just checked high tide times as may drive to beach with ds to watch if winds are still up.

Updated weather warnings - including an amber warning now for Wales/across the middle of England until 10pm tonight.

Where I am (Leicester, so under the amber warning), wind has got up in the last hour or so but the sun keeps coming out and it's a warm 20C

It’s stopped raining here, and the wind has dropped too.
