Nothing too severe, but nevertheless, potentially of interest.

The risk is primarily for heavy rain, if and where storms develop, with some associated thunder. Sunday Afternoon has greater potential that tomorrow. Risk area is focused in southern and central areas of
england, perhaps into the Midlands and possibly down the north east coast.

Thanks for this, OYBBK.

Sounds interesting. We could do with some rain here.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 10/04/2020 21:12

Who'd have thought we would have been saying that a couple of months ago!

My garden would like a bit of rain - amazingly.

Lovely to hear from you, OYBBK - was wondering if you & yours were OK.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 10/04/2020 23:16

We are ok magi :) It's taken me a bit of time to recalibrate, but I'm starting to feel that there is more space in my brain now. How are you doing?

I think we might break April records for warmth at the end of next week. My garden is in need of some rain too, but the soil is lovely and warm for planting some seedlings.

We'll keep our eyes peeled 👀.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 11/04/2020 21:12

splendid!
It didn't really kick off today but tomorrow looks more favourable, especially in central eastern areas.

We had some heavy rain this afternoon, I found myself thinking 'that's a shame, I was going to water the garden in a bit' - for something to do! Grin

Some thoughts from Netweather.

Clutterbugsmum · 12/04/2020 16:18

We have had a few rumbles of thunder on the Beds/Herts boarder but no rain unfortunately.

thekingfisher · 12/04/2020 17:39

We've just had mahoooosive thunderstorm and still torrential rain Essex Suffolk border. Got soaked !!

bettybattenburg · 12/04/2020 19:58

Nothing in our bit of Gloucestershire but a strong breeze just came from nowhere for a wee while. I'm out in the garden and it's really quite refreshing.

Perihelion · 12/04/2020 20:00

Rain alarm for you down south looks quite exciting for some. Edinburgh has been pretty dry since lock down although it feels like it's going back to winter, with 8C and a NE wind currently.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 12/04/2020 20:04

Current storms.

Tomorrow is going to be a shock. A good 12/13c down from today.

bettybattenburg · 12/04/2020 20:36

It's extremely black here right now Grin

megletthesecond · 12/04/2020 20:46

We've not had any real rain in North Hampshire for a month. This is nuts.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 12/04/2020 22:15

Grin Betty

Meglet looks like it will continue pretty much dry in your area.
