I don't believe it's just me but the UK weather is unbearable just now nothing but rain wind sleet snow I am so fed up looking at it ( to make matters worse the DH is at home all the time as works out doors ) I know from the news how terrible it is for some ppl they have lost everything to floods but the weather is seriously depressing me

I have to work outside regardless of the weather, no option to stay in on a rainy day, snow, hail, and I totally agree, it’s crap!! I’m sick of my make up running down my face, I’ve given up trying to look presentable!!

I feel really sorry for those that have flooded. I live in a very wet area anyway but it's been ridiculous recently, becoming a regular thing having to turn round and go home because the roads are not passable, forget snow days it's rain days. Get why people have crossovers and 4x4 round me, it's not for the off roading it's for the clearance to get through all the standing water on the roads. Miserable. Had half a day of sunshine today and it was blooming glorious.

I hate it
and I feel guilty for letting myself be miserable because although it's depressing I know that so many people have it so much worse.

It will be even worse if we have either a wet summer or a drought in the 'summer' months

Yep it's miserable and I'm sick of it!

I'm also sick of the "there no bad weather, just bad clothing" brigade.

Well the good news is that there is a strange thing going on with the sky in Dublin - it's blue!! With only a couple of very high, light, fluffy clouds in it. So there's a chance it may be dry for a while, and forecasts for this week are for a reasonable amount of dry weather during the week which will hopefully allow levels to drop.

(I think there is more bad weather due at the weekend, but hopefully a good week will mean things get back under control again).
