We are expecting another deep low pressure system this weekend. It's not Storm Ellen because Spain named it first.

I spoke too soon, it's now pouring down !

It was on and off for most of the day but is now consistently blowing a hoolie.

It sounds more windy than Ciara or Dennis - possibly coming from a slightly different direction?

Very wet and windy in Lancashire.

Had rain, blue skies, snow ,hail and more rain. Now very windy in NE Lincs.
Weather app says dying down by 9 but not convinced. Fast forward to next weekend and app says wind speeds in the red again!

More of the same. We had a strange bit of weather today, rain and hail as expected but then, most disconcertingly, the sky went a very odd colour - some would even say it appeared to be blue but they were obviously being ridiculous to imagine such a thing.

The wind woke me up this morning. When will Spring start to spring?
My only way to transport the kids around today would be the pram and I really don’t fancy that at all.

@pussycatinboots that is a lot of money! Christ i’m hoping it is just leaves blocking mine and it’s not so damaged as to need replacing.

Pea sized hailstones now

I have the nappies out to dry. They are drying so quickly in the breeze and bleaching nicely in the sun. Hope we don't get the hailstones here though; they are quite old and that would probably finsh them off!
