Looking on the app the spread of generation seems off somehow - surely August wasn't that hot?

Hi Katy

Just wondering how you’ve found having them? Was there a lot of work involved in having them fitted?
Interested in these so wondering if they’ve made a difference to your bills etc.
Our house gets a lot of sun at the front so would
Love some installed on the front of the house.

Also, are the battery/energy stores big? How much space do they take up?

Thanks so much

Oh... and how many years would you say it would take to net off the cost against savings/revenue?
Thanks again c

The work was mininal - biggest problem was arguing where the cable would go (ie not in full view down the most visible wall of my newly decorated understairs loo)

Umm & the scaffolding was up way too long

I want batteries but I can't afford them yet - but I have been told they will fit on the wall in the attic

9 months is about 166.85 and I'm expecting at least another 70 so say 240 a year

Plus our payments have reduced from 100pcm to 60 pcm - so say 480

Meaning 720 a year payback in less than 6 years - maybe say a little longer to allow for estimates

But for me it is the 'doing something positive' that is the most important thing

And we went from 2 cars down to 1 so that's a big saving too - we also have 2 electric bikes but don't feel guilty as most of the time they are solar powers Wink

Thanks so much

I can imagine the logistics can get tricky.

The doing my bit is the big thing for me too but I have to convince my other half to go for it.

We also have two cars and when mine needs to be changed I will be looking at getting a used electric car and it would be fab to have the panels in to run it.

Thanks for replying. I’m going to look into it a bit more Smile
