Sorry, I know it's short notice, I've been away!

Anyway, we have a very deep low pressure crossing the south tomorrow. Gusts 70-80mph along the south coast along with some very heavy rain in the Sw. Further north into the midlands. there is also a concurrent tornado risk.

Fun for everyone Expletive Confused
that's the problem with SWR - so many of their trains originate from southern coastal stations, then the restrictions look a bit crackers to those further inland. For once it's not their fault.

Departures from Brockenhurst not looking too clever....

Do you all remember the photos of Sennen Cove in 2014? I've just seen that. Sat in the car in the car park. OHMYGOD

LadyFlumpalot · 02/11/2019 10:59

Anyone around the Penzance area, floods and trees down on the A30 headed for Sennen. We are headed back home. Shame It came in on our last day.

I'm usually doomed to disappointment Trewser even when I intellectually know my chances of interesting weather are low.

Stay safe. Our friends decided to cut short their St Ives stay to miss the worst of it. The roads out of Cornwall were still a bit hairy.

I guessed something big was coming when I saw they were closing St Mary's harbour last night (8m swell).

Some cracking photos from this morning at Sennen and Penzance

LadyFlumpalot · 02/11/2019 12:46

I've added a video from this morning to my photography Instagram seeing as I'm out of my photo limit on here. Have a look for Tinywingphotos (not an advert, just the only way I can think to show you all whilst maintaining a degree of anonymity)

Emmabryant123 · 02/11/2019 16:42

Its calming down here now

GorkyMcPorky · 02/11/2019 17:12

Stuck on a ferry outside Dover. Got a 4-5 hour journey to Wales ahead Sad

ExpletiveDEVILighted · 02/11/2019 17:13

I've just left Waterloo to go home. A lot of delays but mostly quite short, a few cancellations.

ExpletiveDEVILighted · 02/11/2019 17:13

Oh no Gorky Sad

GorkyMcPorky · 02/11/2019 18:50

Still stuck - booked a Travelodge!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 02/11/2019 19:43

Gorky, you poor old thing. That's really grim.

The met office definitely dropped the ball on this one. It should have warranted an amber warning.
