Can I go camping next week? OYBK ?

After your lovely mumsnet service announcement last year which enabled me to plan a camping trip. Any thoughts on the weather from Thursday next week. I would be happy with dry, sunny is not hugely important. Gales and monsoons on the other hand...

I'm in South East Wales.

It's a bit difficult to be certain as it's way into the future when it comes to forecasting but it looks fairly settled end of next week/into the weekend but after that (from the 4th June), it becomes changeable. Best temperatures ~ south/SE (and midlands late next week) upper teens/low 20s) with the rest of the country ~ 15-20C. After the weekend, the south/SE are still best of temperatures and might be OK for dry weather as well.

Metoffice Outlook says the same sort of thing..

UK Outlook for Monday 28 May 2018 to Wednesday 6 Jun 2018:

Bank Holiday Monday will be fine and very warm for many, although cooler along some North Sea coasts with mist and fog. Scattered thunderstorms could affect southern and some central areas, but many will remain dry. Very warm and perhaps hot weather will continue for most through the end of May with plenty of sunshine, but with the risk of showers or thunderstorms more widely. With light easterly winds, North Sea coasts will often be cooler and cloudier. Into early June, confidence becomes low but most should remain dry and warm, although probably cooler than at the end of May. However, there will be an increasing chance of somewhat more changeable weather with the risk of showery rain becoming more widespread.
