Storm Dylan ~ Amber/yellow wind warnings for tomorrow ~ 31/12

Metoffice has issued Amber and Yellow warnings for winds all associated with Storm Dylan as it crosses northern bits of England, Northern Ireland and S. Scotland, starting early tomorrow until just after lunchtime. Strong winds of 55-65mph for some areas and some places might see gusts of 70-80mph for a time.
There are also rain and ice warnings for other areas, tonight into tomorrow.

Netweather have a bit more here on Storm Dylan and the weather for the next few days.

Ah yes, the south/southwest have had rather a lot of rain/wind over Christmas. The worst of it for your area is probably going to be overnight but after that, although it's still looking unsettled, it calms down a bit.

It's blowing a hoolie outside right now and keep me awake.

How has it been for everyone?
Not had much wind here in North East Scotland, well not much more than is usual for this time of year.

I was up during the night because of it, had to take the wreath off the door at 4am. It's passed now but forecast for more gales tonight.

Think Storm Dylan as forecast, passed through fairly quickly.

Looking a bit unsettled for the next few days but not too bad otherwise. Temperatures about where they should be for the time of year but looking a bit colder over the weekend.
