Is it ever going to cheer up in the SW?

I am getting very fed up with the pretty much constant grey skies and rain. Any idea whether its likely to improve? Going to the Brecon Beacons for 4 days next week - shepherds hut on side of mountain...
enough said.

To my amateur eye, 'tis looking a bit showery for the Brecon Beacon area next week so I guess pack for all weathers!
Yes I think for the summer so far, apart from some one-off days when it hit 30/34C, it's not been the best when it comes to summer-like weather.

It's a shame. Mind you the Brecon Beacons is lovely in any weather but I've convinced myself I have that season affective disorder lol xx
