Glad it held off for the concert last night then

OhYouBadBadKitten · 05/06/2017 13:22

agreed! It would have been horrid.

Thank you for this, just been to check and the river is in flood so I'm going to be paddling to school later.

HmmOkay · 05/06/2017 13:25

Horrible here in Shropshire/Welsh borders.

Bucketing down all morning and no let up in sight.

Maudlinmaud · 05/06/2017 13:30

OYBBK any news on the sunshine returning? I'm in NI we had very heavy rain last night but it's moved on for now. Forecast says it's going to be an unsettled week.

PickAChew · 05/06/2017 13:50

It's soggy enough in the ne and we're well outside the warning area.

At least it's washed the bird shit off my kitchen window.

Garnethair · 05/06/2017 14:19

and rain in the south east due too? I've seen the weather forecast and it claims that will be the case, but recently it seems to miss us.

Justmuddlingalong · 05/06/2017 15:39

Torrential rain, hail, thunder and lightning here in Fife. Welly boot weather in June Confused.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 05/06/2017 18:29

I'm hoping that over the weekend or early next week things will settle again.

Rain was a little later than forecast in the south.

Very windy and rainy down here and we've got a power cut too.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 06/06/2017 07:12

My poor roses are collapsing and I'm along way from the NE. poor roses.

My laburnums have had it. Pretty while they lasted.

GloriaSmud · 06/06/2017 11:16

Truly 'orrible here (Leicester)
Not just wet but cold as well. 11.2C ~ it's June for $%^& sake!

Updated weather warnings for wind. Not great with all the trees full of leaves.

notsomanky · 06/06/2017 21:27

Squelch.

It has been foul here all day. The wind is still howling and rain is battering our windows.

PickAChew · 06/06/2017 23:26

Today far worse than yesterday. Yes, we need rain, but not all in one day.

Had to take shelter from stair rods under the canopy outside a former but unreformed and very smelly Yates's bar, in Durham, at lunchtime!

PickAChew · 06/06/2017 23:28

DS1 was wanting a day trip to York on Saturday, but it's still not looking too clever, then - and I don't know all the good dry hideyholes down there.
