Is some good weather finally coming?!

BBC weather is showing a very good weekend ahead in the south - might we finally get some sunshine before everyone migrates?

Oh god I hope so! They did mention on the weather last night that the Azores high should start pushing in and that would allow some warm air up from the continent. Though none of the other forecasts seem to be picking this up ( I am checking about 4 at the moment, desperate for some sun!)

I hope they haven't got our hopes up for nothing though...

I hope so I get married a week today!

According to the BBC the excepted nice weekend has been put on for most of us.

The Jet Stream is further south again so we are dragging in Atlantic systems again.

Maybe summer will arrive next week!

I am hoping it means the nice weather is just slightly delayed. My phone (not sure where it gets the weather from, is predicting warmer weather next week but as that is a week away I guess that could still change..grr.

BBC weather saying 23/24/26 degrees across next week in the south...

If we get a nice school holiday I will be willing to forgive mother nature for the recent fuck ups. Maybe...

Sorry! I am just checking the weather for my area as it seems to vary so wildly across the country. I think it's pretty shit everywhere at the moment though. Hope everyone gets some warmth and sunshine soon. I thought last summer was bad!

Weather forecast is starting to look not as amazing as first thought. I had a nose on some weather forums and they all appear to have completely given up on summer. Apparently from now onwards the temp will be 13 degrees pretty much all year round with lots of cloud and a bit of rain Seasons are over, this is our new normal

Yes, I wish they wouldn't get our hopes up until they are completely sure that the hot weather will arrive. Even that national TV stations were taking about temperatures in to the late twenties. Now it's 'oh actually we were wrong'. Arggghh

All the weather forecast sites I can find say that the south coast will be 20-22 next week; hooray , I thought, 'cos we're off on a beach holiday..

But they say that where I am today is 20 degrees - and it isn't , its freezing. So I have reluctantly come to the conclusion they can't be trusted at all.

Seems some consensus now that for a brief few days early next week in the south (sorry north) we will get some decent, high temperatures. Then there will be a thunderstorm and it will turn cooler again!

I've been excitedly planning a major laundry week. Going to blitz the bed linen and towels and line dry them for once.

Remember; water for birds, bees (on marbles apparently) , hedgehogs and make sure elderly relatives and friends are ok.

does look pretty el scorchio for a few days in the south - some coastal fog and cloud could (oh look those words have the same letters!) cause some disappointing conditions for beach lovers tomorrow but Tuesday looks hot from the start.

Please let it continue for a few weeks. No more rain until September would be lovely!
