Our holiday this year is in whit week 30/5-3/6 - in South Wales (near Tenby)
What is the liklihood we will need wellies and raincoats please!!?

Don't know but want the answer too.

We're going to Somerset for a week starting Friday 27th.

I don't mind if it's not hot, but I don't want rain all week.

It's Bank Holiday, it has to rain !

From memory Whit bank holiday tends to be wetter than the 1st May bank holiday so I'd take wellies to be on the safe side.

We're going camping in Northumberland, so it will doubtless rain there.

I'm in Somerset and we're having a BBQ that weekend cows so I'm insisting it's going to be fine

It's Wales. You always need wellies and waterproofs.

We have been loads of times in all weathers and always had a brilliant time regardless. Folly Farm is great

It is far off in forecasting land, so don't panic yet.

It looks, cool and damp, sometimes wet at present. Very atlantic dominated :(

I'd be happy woth no rain. Sun is not necessary!

It's Wales. You always need raincoat and wellies even in July and August.

But that doesn't mean you won't have a lovely time!

We have been to Pembrokeshire every Whitbweek for five years. And it has usually rained and been cold. Some years the sun breaks through for a day or two, never more. Yet we are venturing back this year....

I have that week off too and I live in South Wales. It will be fab, don't worry. But take your cagoule. To quote Rhod Gilbert, 'I'm Welsh, I was 7 before I knew I could take my cagoule off.'

Tenby is fab.

The express always predicts much snow in the winter and heatwaves in summer. Doesn't seem to make it happen

I wrote my packing list yesterday.
Raincoats and wellies are on it ✔️
