When is Spring actually happening?

Specifically in the north east. I like the cold, but if it's not cold enough for snow then it's just pointless.
I'm bored of the weather being blah and I'm ready for the sunshine!

It's dropped a degree since I got up! Grrr, I HATE the cold!

Im in london and its a joke it is absolutely freezing here, ive had my heating on more this month then I did in december. We've had the odd day where you could get away with a shirt and a light jacket but by four its freezing I was just gonna order my toddler some summer clothes but checked the weather for may and im desperately tryna find some long sleeved pyjamas as it doesn't look good at all im sick of being cold

and snow warnings for Scotland today. Others down the east coast may see snow showers today.

Hail, sleet and a sprinkling of snow today... and I'm in south-east England, not the Cairngorms! It's extraordinary.

Who forgot to tell the weather it's May next week?

Whilst I fully expect torrential rain seeing as we're drawing to a May bank holiday
I can't believe the last 24 hours!

We're on highish ground in South Wales and following yesterday's gigantic hail stones, sleet/snow and wind (beautiful blue Sky in between though) it's now been full on snowing for the last 20 minutes and still going!

We have snow falling and sticking in Manchester!!!

It's entirely crazy isn't it.

It's crazy. We have had heavy rain showers on and off all day, once the snow stopped and melted away. Then this evening we have had hailstorms with thunder! Going though Facebook it's only a few years ago we were having a heatwave at this stage in April?

Spring was last Thursday
Have seen flurries of snow the last few days in Edinburgh. Expecting more very soon. The seasons seem to be late atm. Does seem odd though walking around in winter gear when it's not dark till 9pm.....and the shops are trying to punt bbq and garden furniture stuff.

It's a bloody tease here across the pond.

Brilliant sunshine and heat one minute, minus 5 at night the next!

Wardrobe is a nightmare.

I've got fucking hay fever and I am being snowed on. It's not Spring it's torture.

Pennines here, freezing cold, windy, rainy and occasionally snowy. OYBBK please tell me this is leading to a record hot summer?!

Old I was walking my dogs the other day and when the sun came out it totally warmed up my back, but I was facing into the North wind so my front was frozen.

Snowing again this morning.

We had thunder and lightning overnight as well as hail and some rain/snow showers!
