Any ideas yet for the Easter weekend? hoping it warms up a bit for the Easter Egg Hunt

I'm feeling quite glad I have a fractured ankle now as it gets me out of going to Brands Hatch on Sunday all day with two small children in the pissing rain. DH is now taking them both while I get to hobble about in peace at home.

How are birds in 45mph gusts?

I'm sorry that my forecasts aren't as detailed as they used to be - I miss it too. A consequence of a combination of work and volunteering. By the time I'm done for the day my brain is entirely mush.

Sorry Kitten I didn't mean to imply that I didn't appreciate it, I really do. You're always more accurate than anything on the internet!! I was just being hopeful that you could tell me what might happen near me. Don't worry, we're going no matter the weather report! Sorry you don't get to do something you enjoy though, its pants when life gets in the way of the things we want to do

alas severe weather warnings for Gales over much of England on Saturday.

I cancelled my holiday this morning after seeing a weather warning. I've always said everything happens for a reason even if we don't know why straight away. Todays reason showed up quite quickly. DD has developed bronchitis as the day has passed and is currently coughing up a lung with a temp :( I'm really glad we're not camping now!

thank goodness you cancelled, it would have been nightmarish! I hope she feels better soon, theres so much about.

I can't imagine the row DH and I would have had, putting the awning up in the rain he's never the most rational when it comes to tents so I'm glad we're staying home.
