Bit of a heads up and apologies that I'm probably not going to be able to update people from the weekend for a few days...

Weather models for sometime now have been playing with bringing a low pressure in across the uk. How deep, where, when, exact track has varied and often it has vanished altogether in the models! It seems to be back in several models today, but again huge amounts of uncertainty! It could be really rather stormy, or it could be nothing at all!

In my absence can I direct you to the met office site please.

this evening the low struggles to make land fall and fills in over the atlantic. Will see what happens in the mornings models.

Mental note made to keep tabs on it so I can plan laundry / travel / allotment / suitable clothes etc .
