Looks similar to what happened last weekend, with heat building and then setting off a few thunderstorms.

Yes, torrential here too! Wondering if the camp will be cancelled, I don't know how bad it has to be.

Just started raining here in Leicester. Nothing of a stormy nature so far but it's 'oribbly humid.
Some good lightning strikes/storms showing up over Europe way here.

Cub camp called off for tonight due to the rain and wind. Starts tomorrow instead.

watching the storms over the channel.. they are creeping closer to the south coast. here in the w mids it is humid, on and off rain, dull. the air is really thick. feel like I could cut it with a stick.

Just in land from Eastbourne, Sussex coast. Can faintly hear the odd rumble of thunder & it is very grey & still hot but no storms yet - looks as if there are some a bit further East.

Torrential rain started about 20 minutes ago here and temperature's dropped from 21C at 4pm to 17.1C now. 'Tis very dark but surprisingly, there's been nothing of a lightning/rumbly nature.

It keeps trying to rain here in Greater Manchester, but then stopping before it really gets started.

It's very humid.

it's been horrible in North Hampshire today. grey, muggy and drizzly. no sun and no dry heat.

where is summer? This is just miserable.

Utterly miserable this morning and looks like an Autumn day outside. Wondering at the moment whether DDs Guide event is still on ~ heaviest rain is forecast this afternoon, right in the middle of it!

Meglet ~ think it looks like there's going to be another attempt at starting summer next week as it's looking a little drier and warmer.

I expected to be woken at some point through the night by heavy rain, but I wasn't.

It is raining just now, but a slow steady rain not torrential.

Still humid too.

mid week looks better :) but Im not sure how long for, the high pressure then looks like slipping away again over the weekend.

This is so frustrating!
