apologies for not being around much. Hyper busy.

all change Sunday, cold front could bring some snow as far south as the midlands by Monday! Not much mind you and it looks very uncertain. What ever you do though, dont put out bedding plants this weekend. A sharp frost is possible for many Sunday night.

Bloody weather. Hmm

BlackeyedSusan · 24/04/2015 00:10

it is not surprising. warm easter often followed by fecking freezing summer term, with one week usually about exam time I suspect, of glorious weather, when I worry aboutthe chidlren gettingburned as the school has very little shade.

BlackeyedSusan · 24/04/2015 00:11

remember hearing international students marvelling at how warm it was at easter and imagine how hot it will be in summer.

did nothave the heart to tell them it will be grey, rainy and fecking freezing for a substantial chunk of august.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 24/04/2015 08:16

ahh, I was told oak before ash so we are only in for a splash last week Wink

It has been a remarkably dry couple of months down here. My waterbutts are empty.

ash before the oak we are in for a soak.

sorry about the snow. gave ds permission to not wear his jumper. as soon as I opened my mouth I knew it would freeze.

LadyDeadpool · 24/04/2015 21:13

It's my fault brought DS outdoor toys only for his birthday on Wednesday based on the fact it's been boiling for both years of his birthday so far.

Anymore news on the snow weather OYBBK ?

Cindy34 · 26/04/2015 13:15

Just spoke to mum in Scotland and she has sleet/snow today.

Bunbaker · 26/04/2015 13:19

Blazing sunshine here in South Yorkshire today, but a maximum temperature of 9 degrees. And temperatures remaining in single figures all week.

Perihelion · 26/04/2015 21:15

Snow further North Inverness way. We were forecast some earlier in the week, but only some hail so far. Down to 3C now.

BeeHoney · 26/04/2015 21:17

Gorgeous, hot and sunny day when I was visiting family in the Midlands today!

Perihelion · 26/04/2015 21:18

Forecast snow for today in Edinburgh earlier in the week, but that disappeared.....

LostInChilli · 27/04/2015 21:19

We had to scrape the car clean this morning and it's been bitterly cold tonight because I got the school shorts out yesterday for the first time this year

digerd · 28/04/2015 07:25

3 degrees again last night and clear blue sky and sunny this morning like yesterday.
Odd that the forecast was not much sun to be seen this week. Very welcome though
Weekend was dull and dismal.

Wouldnt be the 1st time it snowed in April/may ,we've just not seen in many years that's all

BikeRunSki · 28/04/2015 07:29

April 2000, edges of Sheffield. We had the phone number of the snow plough man to come and let us out. I remember it well, it was our wedding day.

TelephoneIgnoringMachine · 28/04/2015 07:36

It wouldn't be thw first time we've had warm weather followed by snow by snow, at this time of year.
