Anyone in the Highlands near Aviemore ?

I'm driving up from the south east to one of the villages a few miles north of aviemore next week for a christmas break with my dc. What's the weather like at the moment ? Dc are desperate for snow and to try out their new sledges. We came up last year and stayed near banchory and had no snow just rain so really hoping we might get lucky this time.
