What's that new big storm thing this week? Not true, is it?

Just read about a big atlantic storm coming for the weekend.
It was the Mail though, so please tell me they've got it wrong!

I wondered that - everyone at work is in a bit of a tizz about it

Can't see anything huge on met office - wind & rain for the South I think, but doesn't look huge? Hopefully someone ohyoubadbadkitten will come along soon!

We had some awesome storms where Iive on Sunday - hail, thunder and lightening! Don't want anymore thankyou.....

(I hope I've got some of this right!) I think they mean this low pressure system sitting in the middle of the ocean. It doesn't really look like it'll do much over the next 2-3 days apart from making things a bit unsettled at times. The wind though is coming from the South/Azores though so it'll make the rain nice and warm!

I'm here :) it is a maaaaasive storm. But it's going to sit out over the Atlantic causing nuisance value only. Lots of warmth bring pulled up by it over the weekend but it will remain unsettled.

So say, purely theoretically, someone was flying to North America on Saturday?

not wishing for another enforced extra 5 days in NY like 2 years ago thanks to hurricane Sandy, oh no!
