What the frick is going on with the weather today?

In the space of a few hours, mild start, now feels cold. Sun then torrential showers, now it's cloudy (not raining) and just heard an enormous roll of thunder

I have exactly the same pattern here in the South. Thunder and lightening, huge downpours and very very windy, saw a roadside sign sailing past my house earlier, and in between the sun shines ! What a weird day.

Are you in Norfolk? We had a lovely sunny start to the day, then the wind picked up, it all went dark and we've had very heavy showers and a thunderstorm, very odd!

I think someone may have got the weather drunk. I'm in the south east and we've had alternating bright sunshine and torrential rain all day.

It is ermmm, variable isnt it! Typical autumn weather. Lots of showers with plenty of energy behind them.

I'm south east. Barmy weather. Raincoat/thermals/shortsleeves/converse and winter boots need to all be worn at once.

TORRO have issued a tornado watch for the south for the rest of today.

We had fierce hail storm earlier but only lasted a few minutes. Honestly the most random weather day I've ever experienced (and I've been through graupel OYBBK!).
