Some heavy rain is expected with perhaps some localised flooding issues. perhaps also strong winds close to the coast too.

So that's the trick then, to not have BHs!

It's raining heavily and persistently in Falmouth at the moment. Fortunately our holiday cottage is cosy and we've bought a stack of board games for just such an eventuality!

We had showers am but since pm it has rained incessantly. Been waiting in vain for a break to take dog out since 2pm for 2nd walkies.

The SE has a warning for more heavy rain tomorrow as a band of showers following behind this lot.
Amusingly today's warnings expire at 23:50 and tomorrow's start at 00:15 so we have 25 minutes when we aren't in a warning.

Gloomy old day which has meant I've been far more productive than intended. I've even tidied my sewing basket

Well,I'm not taking dog out for her walk between 23.50-00.15
She had to make do with a boring wee in the garden in the rain this afternoon as it just refused to stop raining.

My lean to was flooded on the ground as the rain drainpipe gully is in there and was blocked with stuff from the trees. I was enjoying contorting myself to get at it in my marigolds to scoop it free and dispose of the stuff - muttering to myself all the time.
I had hoped for a mainly dry day tomorrow

Did not hear it raining in the night but although not raining atm I can hear it draining off my gutters in the leanto.
Hoping to do the early important dog walk before it rains again but is all gloomy and dismal outside.

I was well rain proofed early this morning but little furry dog was not and looked very bedraggled /shaggy. It began with light drizzle but got steadily more intense.
Rain took a short break an hour ago but we've had no torrential downpours, thank goodness, just steady vertical fine rain.
Very good for the garden.
