Is the weather going to warm up a bit again before the end of my mat leave mid September???

Not keen on it being so brrr and autumnal! We're in Harrogate, North Yorkshire and extended my mat leave over the summer to enjoy the nice weather - will we get a bit more warm / sunny weather before 15th September???

The longest model I can see goes up to 1st Sept. It might be a little warmer mid next week, but probably just a little.
It's not a brilliant forecast I'm afraid.

i hope we have this weather now permanently. Its 16oC here and lovely

LL GFS has been consistent for a few days of bringing in plenty of rain starting at some point next weekend, so at present I'd also think in terms of waterproofing.
Hopefully that will change, there is still time for it to do so.

It's rather annoying isn't it Fence. It's the flipping jetstream again channeling all the weather this way.

I'm off camping for a week from next weekend, in Devon, will we be testing how waterproof our tent is?

We had a week's camping holiday earlier this summer and the forecast then was awful but we actually had lovely sunny weather. So I have my fingers crossed that the same will happen again.

Winky, that's what the models showed a couple of days ago. It still looks showery, but the worst of the weather has been put back til Monday. It will be interesting to see if that continues in tomorrow's GFS runs.

megbusset. I live in the lakes and it's chilly here. Very windy today. Not a great forecast but there is plenty of other stuff todo here.
