Crashes and bang just starting in West Midlands. I don't think the cricket match which DS was supposed to play in is going to start in 20 mins..

CarCiKoTab · 22/05/2014 15:42

We had hail, rain thunder and lightening it was brilliant, my little boy however was following me round the house because he was terrified bless him.

goshhhhhh · 22/05/2014 15:43

Storm been going on & off for a hour now - n Cambridgeshire - just in time for school run

springlamb · 22/05/2014 16:00

Rumbles beginning now...
Jeez, half an hour ago I was laying in me broken sunlounger in the greenhouse with the sun blazing down thinking I was on a Red Sea beach.
Rain now...

DoctorTwo · 22/05/2014 16:04

It horsed it down here, then hail, followed by a magnificent electrical storm. One lightning strike was so close it knocked the electricity out for a second and set the car alarm off. The rain was the heaviest I've seen in years.

CatsCantTwerk · 22/05/2014 16:06

Nothing here in Lincolnshire yet!

digerd · 22/05/2014 16:26

S.Herts.
We had thunder and lightning/cloud burst type downpours between 2-3 and now back to sunny spells. Supposed to get them again later.
Why must it get windy though?
Can't see if my vulnerable rose arch has fallen apart yet again . The rain in the many large filled blooms make the whole rose very heavy.

digerd · 22/05/2014 16:28

makes

CatsCantTwerk · 22/05/2014 16:34

I'm NW, nothing here, not had a single storm yet, just grey drizzle.

droitwichmummy · 22/05/2014 17:18

Have they left Worcestershire yet? I've had a frightened DS on the phone!

stealthsquiggle · 22/05/2014 17:40

Seems to be clear here, DroitwichM (a bit west of you)

OhYouBadBadKitten · 22/05/2014 17:41

Mostly seems to be concentrated around the Wash area now (Lincolnshire through to Cambridgeshire)

droitwichmummy · 22/05/2014 17:44

Thank you! I'm on the train home & it looks like the rain has stopped now.
