how accurate is the uk forecast, really?

Genuinely curious, as there are thunderstorms forecast for the west/south west tonight and I want to know how likely they are to get to Surrey. I loves a thunderstorm.

It depends on who is issuing the forecast

I think there is a small chance of you catching a storm. Thursday looks much better but no guarantee - even when there are lots of storms about in general they dont usually cover a huge area. As to how accurate my thoughts are? Time will tell!
