Southern weather warnings

here for heavy rain.

Met office have done a stupid redesign of their page so now I have to specifically look for warnings. Grrr.

Some of you may have noticed that the storms are becoming electrified

North Essex. It's been full on raining all day. Cold, grey, miserable, big fat wet rain!

S.Herts.

Only 1 degree last night and sitting room down to 16.5 when heating came back on at 3am. Still only 17 degrees in sitting room. 1st May I turn my CH off usually. Sunny atm.

Looks like it's going to a be a beautiful day here (Leicester), already up to 13.4C. Was a chilly night though ~ down to -1.1C at 5.36am.

Just managed to find the wind direction and I was right it comes from the NE . brrr. Too chilly for me and I want to be able to turn my heating off.
It has gone off by itself now < for now> and the sun has gone too behind hazy clouds.
