How do I find out if yesterday had a weather warning for my area?

I have a leak in the roof and just want to be sure I have all the facts before they try and tell me the torrent of rain yesterday was completely normal.

I'm not sure that information is publically archived. However, 24 hours of observations are, but not including rainfall amounts. put in your own location

Another thing you can do is google 'weather station' and your home town. You may find you have an amateur weather station nearby.
