Looks like it's going to be a miserable Saturday for us.

If it could wait until I get home from Reading Festival at about 10pm that would be great ;0)

If you're going today funky, you should be OK but have those Ponchos handy just in case you get the start of the rain. If it's tomorrow, it looks a complete wash out

Yep Luckily it was just today, usually we go all weekend.

Was lovely today especially add it hit cloudy, no shelter/shade there.

I'm ready for a day indoors watching the rain tomoz.

Not a lot going on here (Leicester.) Had drizzly rain earlier on but that's been it ~ nothing like the torrential stuff that was forecast!

We have had more rain than I've ever seen in one day today. Floods everywhere and we've had water coming dripping through the ceiling from our upstairs balcony.Garden under water. In Essex.

Also in Essex and agree, this must have been the most rain I've seen in my life. Have seen gardens 1ft under water. Southend seafront is closed, many roads are flooded. A road has burst near me, water spurting in the air out of the Tarmac in the middle of a junction. And it's still going on now. Not good at all, feels like a monsoon.

Managed the dog walk this morning early, but when back home it began to rain and don't think it stopped. No downpours just steady rain, sometimes lighter sometimes heavier. 16 degrees atm. Did manage to get to 20 at 2pm, but generally a miserable day today.

we've had a lovely day in Scotland (for a change). Two loads of washing out and dried and I cut the grass this evening too.

13 degrees and still raining atm. First time I feel chilly in the house for ages. . Since the rain, I have been bitten several times. Just got over the swollen legs and now been bitten on my neck in several places.
grrrr. The only silver lining is that I don't need to water the garden and pots

digerd ~ I had to get the hosepipe out yesterday and water my plants. I hadn't bothered for a day or two because we were forecast to get the rain yesterday. We only got a drizzly shower in the end that wasn't much use to anything!

Dull and drizzly here (Leicester) this morning. 16.6C but should brighten up later.

Turned out lovely in the last hour or 2, but so humid, and had to take little dog out well wrapped up against the biting beasties and I was over-heated. Had to home after 5 minutes. Not wearing a polo neck again, so will just have to smear loads of antimozzy cream on all the bare bits in future.
Been fine all summer, so must be the rain we had that brought them out in a frenzy.

I am near the south east Essex border/north London, so see by your link that we were out of the torrential rain regions. Had no more rain since it stopped about 8am today and now sunny periods.

The news of the flooding has kept the day trippers away though.

Went for a walk to the beach this morning and we had it to ourselves.Unheard of on a sunny day on bank holiday weekend.Didn't even have to queue for ice cream!
