We have thunder and lightening here.....

Worcestershire.

We don't have anything yet but the 6.30pm weather forecast mentioned thundery showers coming in from the SW that might make their up through the midlands. There's a line of lightning strikes showing up nicely on netweather at the moment.

Vale of Glamorgan had it about 1 1/4 hours ago and lots of lovely rain too!

We had it this morning 7.00 to 9.00. My dog was quaking

And us we're on Gloucestershire/Worcestershire border. It woke DS1 up

It seems to have gone away now. The lightning was proper 'light up the room' stuff but the thunder never got super loud.

Lots of rain. Hopefully we will sleep better than last night.

Sorry for not being around. This summer is def an active one storms wise.

Yes OYBBK what is going on? It's August, have we had the best weather already? I am assuming so. Anything better is a bonus.

We had it here in Swansea too.

I was woken in the night and could see the lightning flashing through the drawn lined curtains and hear the crashing claps of thinder and rain pelted with a forceful wind at my window. All I could think of was little dog who had her op on Monday and wearing a large collar but there was no sound from her.
Sky clearing atm. The air was lovely and fresh last evening at 6pm
