Please please please tell me that is not true...

Having a nasty root canal done that day which involves a fair bit of a walk from the car park across the town centre to the surgery. Feel wobbly enough without having to do that in blazing heat....

Nooooooooooo

I know exactly what's going to happen. It'll be nice for another couple of weeks, lovely summer weather, hot hot hot.

Then the second we cross the border into Cornwall it'll chuck it down, all week Hmm.

I'm with you on that Meglet...

OhYouBadBadKitten · 20/07/2013 18:19

Well on the upside we have the possibility of some lovely thunderstorms. I LIKE thunderstorms Grin

Am so much happier with the current forecast for next week, whilst I love summer, the heat was just too much!
And yay!! about potential thunderstorms Grin

root canal was not that bad either. not as bad as I feared. though i had a sore jaw after Shock for an hour!

ChippingInHopHopHop · 21/07/2013 01:31

Oh, I've been loving this really hot weather, I was hoping it would last at least next week!!

Though I do love a good thunderstorm as well Grin

... and snow and wind and and and....

Just not bloody day after day of grey.

OYBBK - can you please order some more very sunny, very hot days please :)

digerd · 21/07/2013 06:45

Yesterday was much more tolerable. Even when the sun came out in the early afternoon for a bit it was fine. I like it better to be not cold but not hot either with a fresh breeze. Little dog had a walk yesterday afternoon which we'd had to miss for the last few weeks.

Had a low night temp of 16 regularly, but odd that at 16 degrees in the cold spring I had to wear a jacket, but the last few weeks it was a 'warmer' 16 and didn't need a jacket at 6.30 am dog walk??

digerd · 21/07/2013 09:02

Well surprise, surprise. It was chilly this morning at 17 degrees and had to wear a thin jacket and the wind made my finger tips cold.
It was very refreshing and blew some of the cobwebs in my brain away Smile

Cancel that order !Angry Wink

We are in Sheringham,Norfolk and it is cloudy and cool.I want more hot weather,I've had to put a cardi on for the first time since the end of June. The sea here is surprisingly warm at 16c though.

BehindLockNumberNine · 21/07/2013 17:55

Thank you blackeyedsusan Smile The amount of people that have told me their root canal was awful, painful, horrible etc etc is mounting up and I needed to hear someone say it was ok Smile

Still terrified though....Sad

Hmmm!

The cool refreshing breeze diappeared this afternoon when the sun came out. Couldn't go out at 3pm. Just been out with little dog at 7pm and still too hot for her and I was fanning myself again with spanish fan.
Was told it will be back to 31 tomorrow - and no doubt no cool breeze either. Sad for little dog.

valiumredhead · 21/07/2013 20:02

Whereabouts are you dig?

digerd · 21/07/2013 20:04

SE - just north of London, valium.

MummyMastodon · 21/07/2013 20:06

We've had a blissfully cool, cloudy day, even a very, very slight mist of rain. It was heaven.

telly says 28 degrees again tomorrow, but I dunno, in my bones it feels like the weather has properly turned, we'll see.

valiumredhead · 21/07/2013 20:11

Been lovely in Beds, cool with sun this afternoon but not hot. We were able to do loads in the garden and I cooked a lasagne, lovely to be able to cook properly againGrin
