We have gloom and a miserable chilly breeze. Weannhhhh!!!!!

It has been gloriously warm and sunny here since Friday and we have had dinner out in the garden the last 2 nights.

Just done an hour's pruning in the garden, and had to come in as too warm

Another clear blue sky and sunshine this morning. Was till wearing a jacket yesterday due to fresh wind in exposed country areas, walking the dog.

That 1 hours pruning yesterday has taken its toll, as got swollen hands and back aches

The fresh wind still seems to coming from a northerly direction. At 9am today, I still had to wear my warm jacket on the dog walk. Still, much nicer than no air movement and oppressively humid, as I have to stay indoors then between 11-8

Leesmum, yes :) won't be wall to wall sunshine but it looks settled and generally quite warm right through to early next week. Perhaps turning unsettled tues/weds.

At 8.15 the skies cleared and sun came out. Now a clear blue sky and 19 in the shade

Cloudy and dull here in South Derbyshire. Breeze is a tad nipply, too. Can't complain, it's been lovely. This is a blip

Been a cloudy, dull and chilly day here (Leicester) ~ the highest temp it got up to was 15.8C at 4.46pm. The only glimpse of the sun we had was when it came out just before 9pm, just as it was getting dark!

OYBBK ~ I hope it is a better day today, I sent DDs to school yesterday in their school summer dresses without cardigans, thinking that the sun would come out and it would warm up during the day. At the moment, it's dull, cloudy and 10.3c and DDs have got their cardigans and coats as they were so cold yesterday!
Hope the sun burns through that stubborn cloud soon.

I have a complaint. It is overcast and drizzly and we were promised Scorchio!

Woohoo ~ sun broke through about 11am and now we're up to 20.5C. That's more like it!
