Isle of Wight advise please

Can anyone local tell me if the ferry services to the Isle of Wight tend to be disrupted by bad weather.

We're meant to be getting the vehicle ferry from Southampton to east cowes on Friday. But there's some pretty heavy snow forecast and blizzards.

Assuming we can get down to Southampton, how likely are the ferrys to be running?

Tends to be gales that stop them, if anything. Don't get cancelled that easily. I'd check with Red Funnel if I were you...
