Lots of rain warnings across the UK

Following on from the other threads
met office warnings
I'm afraid there's a lot of flooding on the cards by the end of Monday.

What about Tuesday morning in North Yorkshire? Shall I be getting something in here just in case I can't drive down to York (an hour and half away on the A1)

Lilleth, I think that as long as you don't have left over flooding issues from Monday then it's looking ok at the moment. Quite dry in that region for the day at the moment.

But do ask again in a couple of days in case things change.

Ooo, thanks for the warning, I guess the long muddy walks I will be made to participate in will be very muddy, then (visiting MIL). Looks quite windy as well for the South.

Oh, and Friday looks really windy! At least I think it's Friday, I can't see a date and the map at the same time on the Meteox. Would you have a look? Looks like v.strong gale at the least.

ECMWF shows gales for next fri/sat, but this run of GFS doesn't. Something to keep an eye on I think.

Bit of a bump.

An extra 80mm of rain for some tomorrow. That is a hell of a lot of rain on top of saturated ground. More flooding I'm afraid.

Appalling weather today - fog, high wind and driving rain. Nasty.

Not so much rain on Monday, but still enough to cause further flooding in the south and south west. severe gales in NE Scotland tomorrow.

Getting really rather concerned that there isn't any sign of this settling down over the next two weeks. At the end of the two weeks GFS does show a cool down, but still mostly wet rather than snow.
