OYBBK - long term weather question please....

Ok first off this is not a thread about a thread but it does involve a farmer and the weather

A farmer friend (of dh's) has just said today that he has seen reports that once this latest band of rain has gone through in the next few days that the end of the rain until October at the earliest

Now I have heen googling, checking out the charts and trying to find something to back this up but no luck. He has been right in the past but I just wondered what you thought you weather guru you

re rain - on the other hand it looks like I'm starting to work some of this weather chart reading stuff out

Saw the most wonderful rainbow ring round the sun today - which usually means bad weather on the way - and a sundog each side

As long as this week stays dry then at least we will manage to get the hay done [fingers crossed emoticon]

SO weather ladies.

Looking on netweather its showing signs of rain (every day) next week ( hampshire) Does that seem right or is it still too early to tell?

Im wondering wether to pack out this week with fun sunshiney stuff while we have the nice blue skies or will I be able to do it next week as well?

That sadly seems about right at the moment.
