if there are thunderstorms does that mean the air pressure is changing?

...and might we, just might we get some better weather and less rain?

Obviously I have no clue on weather systems, but clinging onto some hope.

I believe that a thunderstorm comes when a cold front meets a hot front

A typical thundercloud - the anvil cloud - spreads out at the top. This is because the cloud rises in a column of warm hair (because thermals rise) then hits a kind of ceiling of colder air and spreads out.

Often you get a thunderstorm when it's been very hot and muggy, then the storm signals the cooler clearer air coming.

Er. I'm not sure if I've answered your question. You might be better off waiting for someone who knows what they're on about to come along Grin

Warm AIR not warm hair Grin

Going to get me barnet cut tomorrow: it's obviously on my mind.

Lots of reasons for thunderstorms, will try to pick up on this tomorrow.
