Any predictions for Canterbury-ish for Saturday? Should we cancel the fete worse than death?

I took my monthly gas reading the other day. June was off the scale compared to previous Junes (yes, I have 5 years worth of them on a whizzy spreadsheet). Radiators are on now to dry clothes and take the chill out of the air.

When is this bloomin' jet stream going to budge?!!! Maybe if we all blow into the sky together it might shift .

todays warnings

It rained pretty much steadily all day yesterday, but I have woken to crisp blue skies this morning. It makes such a difference to how you start that day.

I hope the rain is not as bad as is looks like it will be further south.
