Weather warning for this Thursday (21st June)

Looks like after the few days of nice weather, the metoffice are preparing us already for the thundery breakdown!

Boo. Not far enough east for me. I want thunder!

looks particularly wet over the next few days for SW Scotland and NW England but generally a rather wet picture. Showery in nature for many though, so not quite as grim as it might appear at first glance.

Weather warning's moved a bit more in a north~easterly (and a bit closer to us!) direction now. Not really surprised by that as looking at the 10.30pm forecast last night, it looked like the bad weather was going to move across the country that way.

Looks like a grim few days, particularly once again in west Wales and also the nw, where large overall totals look set too. Pretty windy at times too.

No real signs of settling yet D0G - but as you'll have seen even with this unsettled period, we do get some pretty pleasant days. Bump this for me early next week and I'll have a good look for you if you like.

amber warnings for nw tomorrow - some torrential rain expected. Plenty of rain around in general too? Lots of warnings.

Possibility for some very strong winds over night in southern counties.

I'm hoping you'll be lucky, but at the moment I'd be prepared for some rain I'm afraid. I'm keeping an eye on the Low pressure that will dominate that weekend. Bump again for me, it's still early days.

Oh :( and that would be so very lovely. I really really really hope that the rain buggers off.

North West has torrential rain and thunderstorms. I've never seen it look so dark during the day as it was about half and hour ago.

Just had a thunderstorm here - and heavy rain (West Yorks).

Now sunny..
