30 days of rain? please tell me its not true?

Someone in the playground just told me 'its going to rain for 30 day', apparently they heard it on the radio. So is it true?

Was hoping this weather would be gone by next week

not true :) though generally it still looks pretty unsettled.
perhaps even some quite nice days mid week next week.

Thank you, my garden is strating to look like a jungle, i need a dry day to cut the grass so one or two dry days would be good .

For a moment i thought i would be spending the next week building a ark.

Tonight and tomorrows not looking great though

looks rubbish! am teaching my guinea pigs how to swim!

A months rainfall over the next 3 days I'm told!

Great as we're going to an open air gig tomorrow evening!!

Parts of Sussex had double the average June rainfall in less than a day on Monday. Granted they were rather floating with it all.....
I hope the gig is fun :)

We've not long had a 6wk run of rain every day here in East Anglia. 30 days sounds like nowt.

My garden is positively amazonian.

Well the sun is shining, we've had heavy rain over night so everything a bit soggy, so fingers crossed the predicted showers will hold off for this area.

Have decided we'll eat a hot meal before we go as its not going to be picnic weather & take some soup & snacks to nibble later & we have chairs!

Tim Minchin better be good!
