21C here in Leicester, with quite a nice easterly breeze.

Some of the temperatures from around the rest of the country, from the last few days.

Cooler here than yesterday (bit of a breeze - been so humid past few days) so will be about 26 i think later.

26.4C. Very odd with the strong breeze - reminds me of the Med :)

OYBBK ~ it was odd today with the breeze. We hit 28C but the breeze made you think it was cooler, even though we've hit that same temperature over the last few days! But when the temperature started dropping at about 7pm, that breeze made it all a bit chilly!

I put an update on here rather different from what I expected!

Blimey that has raised more questions! (What's a TOE and MR? I'm trying to think what they stand for and it'll probably be something really obvious!)

A TOE is a transoesophageal echocardiogram - basically an ultrasound of the heart done from inside under sedation - you swallow the transducer. Supposed to be much more detailed than a normal echo. MR is an MRI - I think its one that they do with a contrasting agent.

Ah, that's what they stand for.
I'll try and remember to read your other thread to keep up to date on how things are going. Fingers crossed you don't have long to wait for those tests ~ I hope they don't do/expect to do all those in one day though.

According to the thermometer here it was 30 in the afternoon, though the breeze made it far more comfortable than that.

And I should really know by now that if I go to football coaching with youngest Manky, and it's outside, I really need to put suncream on.

Oh dear, manky. DH's got blond hair/fair colouring and has been to an airshow today. He actually remembered suncream but still looks a bit>>>
I think we hit 26C today but for the 2nd day, it felt cooler than that because of the strong breeze. 'Tis great for getting the washing dry though!

Looks like there's been a good storm going on, just off the South~west coast in the last hour!
