while once again the NW is soaking - the drought in the SE remains.

I just noticed this in active conversations, just as I looked out of the window at the torrential rain (in Warrington)
DH told me it was to be 17 today. We had planned to garden.

thats a bummer rip :( I think there are going to be a lot of disappointed people this week temps wise (particularly in the sodden areas!)

The rain has stopped, but the wind is strong and gusty.
