are we going to get proper snow again tonight?
(hope not!)

GlitterKitty · 09/02/2012 17:07

From Met office site: Whilst there is uncertainty regarding where the heaviest and most persistent snow will fall, accumulations of 1 to 5 cm are likely with a risk of up to about 10 cm in the worst affected regions.

Ooo I didn't know about this, hopefully there will be a foot of it in Woolwich and work will be shut Grin

mostboringchatnickname · 09/02/2012 17:21

West London only though it seems looking at the Met Office charts?

GlitterKitty · 09/02/2012 17:34

That radar looks like the snow is going to go right round us. But I am viewing from an IPod.

Think this will be a case of watch and see.

Overtiredmum · 09/02/2012 18:34

My DH has just called me from home in Greenhithe, Kent (I am at work, Canary Wharf) and it has apparently just started to snow!! I need it to hold off until 11pm tonight so I can get home!

JayVazzle · 09/02/2012 18:38

Ooo thats quite near.

Hope you don't get stuck though.

GlitterKitty · 09/02/2012 18:41

Oh lovely- thanks OTMum- tho sorry to hear you are working till 11, that sucks!

OP posts:
Overtiredmum · 09/02/2012 18:41

I should be OK, my car is like a snow plough!!

DH said it is coming down quite heavy, although he has been known to exaggerate Wink

Overtiredmum · 09/02/2012 18:42

Thanks Glitter, although I don't mind being at work, I don't start until 5pm, so I'm at home all day - can't complain with that. DH gets to bath the kids and put them to bed, whilst I have some normality!

GlitterKitty · 09/02/2012 18:43

Just started snowing on Shooters Hill!

OP posts:
Overtiredmum · 09/02/2012 18:49
