today for most we are affected by a week weather front. Tomorrow/Wednesday summer begins again for most :)

Paschaelina · 26/09/2011 08:03

I don't like it. I want to light the woodburner and wear boots and jumpers.

PuppyMonkey · 26/09/2011 10:00

Carried on raining all yesterday. Now it's turned proper gorgeous today.

Tbh I don't like it either, I have a nice new chunky cardigan and am determined to wear it even if it's 27 degrees.

How's it going? Much of the SE has been affected by gloom and low cloud today, which is often the case with these big high pressure systems. Once it clears away should be lovely.

looking glorious through the weekend and into early next week. Hooray!

mankyscotslass · 27/09/2011 17:49

Absolutely gorgeous here today! Grin

OhYouBadBadKitten · 27/09/2011 17:55

Turned out lovely here too :) I always think that autumn sun is such a treasure.

mankyscotslass · 27/09/2011 19:33

And the best thing is that it cools quickly at night, so no hot sticky nights, just lovely sunny days!

I love Indian Summers. Smile

GloriaSmud · 27/09/2011 20:34

We started off with fog here this morning but it soon cleared and we've had a lovely day. I think the Autumn leaves always show off their colours better in the bright sunshine!

Manky, I hadn't thought about the days cooling quickly at this time of year. That's the one thing that's not so pleasant about hot summer days; the humid nights that follow!

GloriaSmud · 28/09/2011 09:55

Another lovely day, warm and sunny.
And what have I just done? I've just been to Aldi and bought some......
Christmas things Blush

OhYouBadBadKitten · 28/09/2011 13:16

no - how could you Gloria!!!!!

a glorious 25C here - with a really sharp quality of light. I'm going to bunk of my duties in a few minutes and spend the afternoon in the garden :)

CavemanDaveIsVeryBrave · 28/09/2011 15:39

How long will it last do you reckon OYBBK? Tis glorious here

OhYouBadBadKitten · 28/09/2011 17:32

It's going to start to change Sunday night into Monday from the NW moving SE as a low pressure system moves in across the north. I think the SE will notice a change going into Tuesday.

GloriaSmud · 28/09/2011 21:04

I know. I'm very Blush about it.
I've put all the Christmassy things away so I can't eat them so that I can forget about them until a bit later in the year!

I have been taking advantage of all this lovely weather with a spot of carpet cleaning. Poor DDs are unable to use their swings at the moment as our big lounge rug is draped over them!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 29/09/2011 07:15

uh oh. One of the models shows a big change with next weekend (8th/9th) being frosty for most. I wonder if the other models will fall into place.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 29/09/2011 07:18

Blush looked at the wrong map (it was one for higher up in the atmmosphere) Still it does look like a big change with frostiness for some in the north.
